With all its interactive features, the Money Museum not only allows its visitors to view the exhibition in a passive way, but also encourages them to take an active part in the cognitive process. The museum is equipped with modern tools, provides screenings of various educational and documentary films, offers games, presentations as well as virtual exhibitions. A lot of attention is paid to economic education.

The permanent exhibition is divided into five sections dedicated to the history of money, history of banking, contemporary money, Lithuanian money, as well as temporary displays and education.
