The virtual exposition „Money in Lithuania in 1914 -1945“ is dedicated to all those interested in the development of banking and money in Lithuania. It consists of the 3 main parts: Visaul Narration, Banknote and Coin Illustration, and Catalogue. Visual Narration is divided into 5 thematic sections with subsections. The story narrated and visual material presented there highlights the the political, economic and financial situation in Lithuania from the beginning of World War One and the restoration of the state to the Soviet occupation and the end of World War Two, presents the country‘s central bank of emission, the circumstances of its establishment and liquidation, and the monetary policy cunducted by it.
